Review Ultimaker 2+
The Ultimaker 2+ is a high-end 3D printer that?s a great match for anyone looking for reliability and print quality. The Ultimaker 2+ is an evolution ? but not a revolution ? of an important brand in the fused deposition modeling (FDM) printer space. Blink and you?ll miss them, but a series of small but critical refinements have made the machine more of a pleasure to use than ever before.

Review Ultimaker 2+
Ultimaker's reputation for superior quality 3D prints is well deserved. The 2+ shows that the company is willing to look at their problem areas and listen to customer feedback to make their machines even better. The really exciting changes are found on the back of the machine. The new feeder improves grip and provides more torque to push the filament through the Bowden tube. ”

Review Ultimaker 2+
The Ultimaker 2+ 3D printer is easy to set up and use, and has good overall print quality, but it can't unseat our top pick. The Ultimaker 2+ offers some improvements over previous-gen Ultimaker 3D printers, thanks to a more dependable filament-feed system and the switchable filament nozzles. Overall print quality is strong, although the printer had its share of misprints in our testing.

Conclusion

The Ultimaker 2+ is an outstanding 3D printer if you are looking for reliability and quality; the device is easy to set up and to use and produces significantly less noise than its predecessor.

The Ultimaker 2+ has, in comparison to the normal '2', multiple improvements in the material feeder and extruder coolers. The print quality of 20 micron is extremely good. Unfortunately the Ultimaker 2+ does not feature a double printhead.
