The TAZ 6, the latest version of LulzBot's flagship 3D printer, is a high-end device for large and small prints new features that make it faster, more flexible and easier to set up. It features a fully integrated power supply, innovative self-leveling & self-cleaning, and a modular tool head design for flexible and multi-material upgrades. Also new: more reliable components, improved firmware, improved heat sink and print cooling, support for new filament materials, and more.
3D printing is more reliable than ever with the integrated automatic bed leveling system, all metal LulzBot v2 Hot End, and heated PEI print surface. With the all metal hot end, you can take advantage of the cutting edge market for new materials.
Open filament format
The LulzBot TAZ 6 works with an open filament format and so you have the freedom to choose from dozens of leading and new materials. This 3D printer is out-of-the-box compatible with materials like PLA, ABS, HIPS, PET, nylon, polycarbonate, Amphora co-polyester, wood and metal composites.
With one of the largest print volumes in its class (280mm x 280mm x 250mm / 11 in x 11 in x 9.8in), you can print objects nearly the size of a basketball. The average Print Speed is 30 - 50 mm/sec (1.18 - 1.97in) and with the 0.5 mm nozzle you can print a thickness 0.050 mm to 0.5 mm (0.002 in - 0.02 in).
